What it's all about

So, for those of you who are unaware, I am Pamz0r! I am a digital artist/animator and have recently injured my drawing hand. I have been ordered to keep it in a splint for the next 3 weeks....SO! i have decided to keep myself upbeat and happy by educating myself in unexplored territories. :)

It has occured to me recently that despite my love for films, and my time spent studying film - i still have missed out on some 'core' film/tv watching. I don't know if this is from my growing up in the country or the fact that I was too busy exploring my own imagination? Who really knows?

Over the next 3 weeks (and possibly longer) I'm going to be watching a lot of these yet-to-be-seen films and tv series, and I'm going to document it *here*, within the depths of this blog!
The list of the films i intend on including in this educational experience can be viewed on the left...
If you think there is a vital movie that I haven't included, and you believe i should without a doubt see it, please let me know :)
(note: i haven't included films i have already seen)

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)

Well, i thoroughly enjoyed this film also...!
'Willie' annoyed me so much though, so much that i was literally yelling at the tv to shutup whenever she spoke. Whinging little whinger!
I do remember mentioning to Andrew as Willie was attempting to mount the elephant "HOW can one person be so naturally unco-ordinated"... after Andrew smiled at me, i then realized *who* i was and how naturally unco-ordinated i am....haha
I must say, Short Round was awesome. totally awesome. i wish to give him many hi 5's.

Points I didn't like about this movie were the supernatural fire pit and the whole human sacrifice thing... thought i sort of get that it was an essential part of the movie. But, here's the thing. If you believed with all your might in a god, and that god needed souls/people/sacrifices, would u not want to provide him/her/it with willing souls. Souls who also believed in this same god and wanted to be close to them?... that makes sense right?
So - why would they try to sacrifice a girl who has no affiliation with them what so ever? who has no idea on the fundamentals of their beliefs.... who doesn't even know the god who you're giving her to. Wouldn't that kind of be like spitting in your gods face? Sure, I would have appreciated the death of Willie as much as the next 'Thuggee' cultist, but it made no sense. More sense than Black Swan, but still - not a lot of sense.
Another thing that didn't quite make sense, was the cutting of the bridge. This bridge had two separate sides, the left side and the right side (obviously). Now, if you were to cut the left side, why then would the right side break?
Surely if this were accurate, the bridge would have just not had a floor, would have potentially knocked all the enemies off it, and all he would have to do is tarzan across to safety. simple and effective! Though i suppose this was a movie... haha so, yeah. kudos!
very much liked :)
I give this 3 and a half buttons, would have been 4 is Willie didn't annoy me so much... and would have been 3 if Short Round wasn't so cool :)
